Ok, let's see if this comment thing works - I tried to comment from my iPhone last night and nothing happened. Sigh.
Photography has a huge impact on our collective visual consciousness. We are a world of instantaneous everything and photography is part of that world.
Once upon a time it could take years to create a portrait of someone, going through all the stages of sketching and painting the subject. Now, with my phone, I can create a zillion crappy of portraits of myself a day.
What if our visual consciousness went through a revolution, and adopted and adapted some of the philosophies behind the "slow food" movement? How would that affect our collective visual consciousness?
